Echinopsis 'Peace Eros'  

Flower to nearly 4-½ inches (11 cm) across. Petals dark mauve-red with pure red midrib. Throat-circle and filaments light magenta; cream-colored anthers contrast with petals. Stigma green. Stem columnar, to 3 inches (7-½ cm) in diameter; spines fine; centrals to 1/8 inch (3 mm) long; areoles closely spaced. Originally named 'Peace Rose', it was changed to 'Peace Eros' to conform to the rules of nomenclature. ISI 97-22; HBG 80608, Schick 487-12.
