Echinopsis 'Mnemosyne' Flower to 4-½ inches (11 cm) across. Petals oblanceolate, flat, rich magenta with dark red midrib and a deep reddish glow in basal portions. Throat-circle pink. Filaments rich purplish-red. Stigma delicate green. Stem columnar, to nearly 3-¼ inches (8 cm) in diameter; central spines to 5/8 inch (15 mm) long. Named for the Greek goddess of memory.
