Echinopsis 'Intrigue' Flower to 4-¼ inches (11 cm) across. Inner petals nearly orbicular, dark red tinted purple with an orange midrib. Outer petals pastel reddish, tips of their midribs and sometimes tips of entire petals, pale tawny-colored, contrasting to dark reddish color of inner petals. Filaments dark scarlet. Stem semicolumnar, to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter; central spines to ¾ inch (20 mm) long. ISI 97-15; HBG 80601, Schick 949-22.
