Echinopsis 'Impulse'  

Flower to 6-½ inches (16 cm) across. Petals flat and smooth-surfaced, butterscotch-yellow to orangish-yellow with pale yellow midrib; inner petals oblanceolate, prominently aristate. Outer petals and sepals projecting beyond inner petals. Throat-circle light yellow. Filaments dark butterscotch-yellow. Stem semicolumnar, to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter; central spines to 7/8 inch (23 mm) long. ISI 97-13; HBG 80599, Schick 1395-11.
