Echinopsis 'Icon' Flower to nearly 4-¼ inches (11 cm) across. Petals relatively few, broadly obovate, with one or several small longitudinal folds near apex, mainly magenta with light orange basal stripe, sometimes with pale magenta margin and vermilion midrib. Throat-circle pale orangish. Filaments red to magenta; outer stamens forming a wide ring. Stigma green. Stem semicolumnar, to 3-½ inches (9 cm) in diameter; central spines to 5/8 inch (15 mm) long.
