Echinopsis 'Candlelight' Flower to 3-½ inches (9 cm) across. Petals obovate, bicolored sand yellow and pure yellow. Filaments yellow. Stem narrow, to only 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter, branches tending to be prostrate; central spines to 1/8 inch (3 mm) long. Requires more protection from sun than most other hybrids. The name 'Candlelight' refers to the mature flower bud that resembles the flame of a candle. ISI 97-5; HBG 80591, Schick 143-3. |
