Echinopsis ‘Edwardian Lady’

Echinopsis ‘Edwardian Lady’ (1405-55). Flower to 4-3/4 inches (12 cm) across. Petals nicely ruffled, bicolored delicate purplish-pink to light peach and white with orangish to tawny midrib and narrow bright yellow basal stripe. Outer stamens in attractive wide circle; all filaments, throat-circle and stigma white. Stem globular, to 3-1/2 inches (9cm) across; central spines to 1/8 inch (4 mm) long; freely pupping.

‘Edwardian Lady’ was named by Aiko, who admired the refined, elegant beauty of its ruffled, delicately colored flowers. ISI 98-8; HBG 81760. Rooted offsets $7.50.
