Echinopsis ‘Djinni’ (1235-47). Flower to 6 inches (15 cm) across. Petals broad, inners acute, strongly ruffled, outers and sepals projecting beyond inners, sharply acute to acuminate, at peak coloration inner petals mainly dark apricot and outers extensively marked in dark purplish-pink that contrasts strongly with apricot of inner petals, at somewhat less than peak coloration inner petals light orangish with contrasting pink outer petals, the flower still beautiful—and Aiko's favorite! Filaments dark terra cotta, sometimes with distinct orangish tint. Stem apparently globular, to nearly 4-1/2 inches (10-1/2 cm) in diameter; central spines to 5/8 inches (15 mm) long.
