ISI 2005-38. Yucca endlichiana Trel.

This is perhaps the choicest and most collectible member of its genus with stemless rosettes emerging from thick, tuberous rhizomes. The succulent leaves are glaucous gray-green ornamented with darker flecks and a few marginal fibers. The flowers are borne on inflorescences shorter than the leaves and have six fleshy perianth parts, creamy white within and reddish-brown on the outside. HBG 91545, plants from seed collected June 2004, by JP Simcox (JP 5600), S of Hipolito, Coahuila, Mexico. $15.
