One of the more shade-tolerant of sedums, S. palmeri with its brilliant golden yellow flowers never fail to brighten up dark parts of the garden when it flowers during the winter months. Rooted cuts of HBG 53253, a form with relatively large rosettes about 2" across, collected Jan. 12, 1985, by J. Folsom (11060), Brown, Dice & Wier on a rocky outcrop at 1000 m alt. between Km 160-161 along Rte. 101, 23.4 km S of Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. $4.
