ISI 2008-25. Ornithogalum pruinosum F.M.Leighton |
Succulent leaves can be found in a few members of this genus of mostly S. African bulbs and most are excellent companions for winter-growing succulents and have lovely flowers. In the case of O. pruinosum, these are 2 cm or more in diameter, white with yellow pistils and usually with an olive-green spot at the base of each tepal. Seedlings from HBG 97489, bulbs collected in Namaqualand, S. Africa. $5.
